It's been three years since the devastating accident . . . three years since Mia walked out of Adam's life forever.
Now living on opposite coasts, Mia is Juilliard's rising star and Adam is LA tabloid fodder, thanks to his new rock star status and celebrity girlfriend. When Adam gets stuck in New York by himself, chance brings the couple together again, for one last night. As they explore the city that has become Mia's home, Adam and Mia revisit the past and open their hearts to the future - and each other.
Told from Adam's point of view in the spare, lyrical prose that defined If I Stay, Where She Went explores the devastation of grief, the promise of new hope, and the flame of rekindled romance.

MY THOUGHTS
Lets have a moment of silence for the author of this book as this was actually just a perfect ending to a wonderful series. I felt every emotion I never thought I could feel. It had flashbacks of their past relationships and it was too much for me to handle! I think this was perfectly brilliantly written and gives hope to those like me who think that the sequel can never be better than the actual first book.
This book is from Adam's point of view and his life after him and Mia stopped seeing eachother completely. His band, the Shooting Stars, have become massive and are about to start their world tour, The trouble is all this fame is breaking the band and his mental health and her finds himself in a constant pool of pills and cigarettes. He might seem to have the perfect life as her is currently dating a super strict and famous movie actress who helped him put him in the limelight. Adam was in New York at the times and sees at a music hall that his ex-girlfriend Mia has become a massive star for Jliard so her decides to go and see her. After that everything changes for the better, they finally start to understand what made the dowfall to their relationship and how they have become so connected as they ever have before.
I can't really talk about this book without giving out loads of spoilers but I love the fact that each chapter starts with lines from songs Adam has written for his band and it really sets the tone for the chapter. It is like little parts of poetry being added into places which tells us about how Mia leaving him left him handing on a thread. I also love how they try and make it seem like they don't miss eachother but we can all sense the tension. It is quite awkward for them at first but then they were back to their jokey ways. I absolutely love how the message of this book is like how one night can change everything and one night can make it work.
Going through the hardships with Adam was a rollercoaster which made me want to parachute in and cuddle him for ages and ages. I still can't get over how good this book is and wrapped up this whole mini series so well. I usually never agree with the endings of some series but this one gave me hope and now I really want to read any book by Gayle Forman.
Overall, I do think that this book is worth the read and I promise you, hands of heart, that this book will crush your heart literally. They need to make a movie for this one now or I will die!! I am begging for this as I will be the first one camping outside Leicester Square just to see this. If there is not school of course..

I wasn't the biggest fan of If I Stay because it didn't bring out enough raw emotion from me, but hey, I'm glad you loved both books!

I don't reread many books but this one is way to beautiful. I actually listened to the audiobook and definitely recommend it. Just such an amazing book. Great review!
