My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.

But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He’s tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.

Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.

My Thoughts...

This book was the definition of phenomenal. I was so into this book I found myself reading this when I was eating breakfast, when I was meant to be going to bed, on the bus! I wanted to finish this book so badly and I haven't read a book which has captivated me so much. It was beautiully written and put together and I couldn't ask for such a mind blowing (in a good way book). I have probably not been so excited to review a book but this one had me hooked in from the start. As soon as I read the synopsis on Netgalley I had to request it and when I was accepted I leapt across the room. Seeing that it was around. Me being me I told myself to wait until July to read the book but I actually ended up reading it in May and loving it!

If I even started to explain the synopsis to this book I will be here for hours and the amount of spoilers would be ridiculous. But I think that the actual synopsis is good enough and you will just have to read into the book to find out more!

Nicole Yoon's writing was exceptional. This is her debut and the way this book was written makes me want to read her books in the future. Nicole, you have just earnt yourself a fan. I can't really put it to words how good this book was. It was filled with love, laughter, tears and pain and it just hit me with the feels. The plot twist near the end of the book nearly killed me  (don't worry I'm fine now btw). It just hit me with a rock and I just wanted to cry and rejoice at the same time but then I just looked liked an emotionally unstable female who cries over a not so emotional part of the book.

My favourite character in the book had to be Madeline's nurse Carla. She was caring, made good food and was genuinely awesome. She let Madeline do things she wasn't allowed to do just to make her feel like a normal teenager and their relationship was wonderful.

Overall. I thought that Everything Everything was an fabulous read which I will definitely be recommending to all of my friends.

My Thoughts
Finding Audrey is probably one of the most beautiful books I have read this year. Not many books cover the topic of anxiety and this book just put it in just the right way. I think it is important for people who suffer from anxiety and even people who don't should really read this book. It really just shows the effects of mental illness and really could help to open peoples eyes and see how things such as depression are not a joke in teenagers and is a rising issue. Finding Audrey really is an astounding book which really should be shown to people of all ages.

Audrey suffers from severe anxiety where she hides underneath the black sunglasses, hasn't entered school since the incident and refuses to venture outdoors. Even people walking into her mini den without permission would cause her to have a panic attack. Audrey was a trouble character with an equally as crazy bunch she calls her family. Her mum is a religous Daily Mail reader, her brother is addicted to video games and literally can't live without them and her Dad is just confused most of the time and caught between her brother and mum feuding every single day.

What I loved about the book was it's positivity. Although it did show how anxiety is a quite an emotional subject I felt myself laughing so much at how quirky each character was in each way and how each situation was lightened by someone saying the wrong thing at the wrong time or her mum mumbling on about what a new article had just read on the Daily Mail. How her family never expected Audrey to speak up about a video game in defence of her brother, the first scene of the book was side splitting, the way that she talked with her brother and how she also found herself an utterly adorable boyfriend in the end of all of this. I loved had mental illness in it but it wasn't exactly about the darkness of mental illness and it maybe it will make people aware of mental illness in young people.

All I ask you to do it please read this book. You will learn so much and it just is my favourite of 2015. I didn't want the book to end at all and I felt quite different after reading it (in a good way). Well done Sophie Kinsella for writing such a great book!!

Everybody wants to be a famous It Girl. Don't they?
Anna Huntley's aims in life:
1) Must keep my two lovely new (and only) school friends by not doing anything in usual manner of socially inept dork and outcast.
2) Train Dog (my labrador) to high-five. This is probably the most ambitious life goal on this list.
3) Do not set the school's Deputy Queen Bee mean girl's hair on fire (again).
4) Work out whether 2) and 3) constitute being socially inept or outcastish.
5) Go to Africa and give out rice.
6) To hide in a cupboard FOR LIFE with Dog now Dad is engaged to one of the most famous actresses EVER, the paparazzi want to spash my face all over the papers and everyone in school (and The World) is soon to discover the level of my social ineptitude.
7) Is rice a bit done now? Maybe I can give out chocolate in Africa too. I do like chocolate. Must work out how to do it from the cupboard...

My Thoughts

 It Girl is a book about a girl, Anna, who has recently moved to London. She feels like a total social outcast and nobody seems to understand her bright sense of humour and thinks that she is plain weird. Now that her Dad has recently become engaged to a famous actress, who's daughter is big in the social world, Anna grasps this opportunity to try and fit in but little does she know that she really is being used. The most popular guy in the school starts to talk to her out of nowhere, she is suddenly being asked to sit with the cool girls even though she had just damaged one of their hairstyles which involved hairspray and a bunsen burner plus she is now being chased by paparazzi and can barely take her dog for a walk! Now that she has not been talking to her 2 friends who have been with her through the embarrassing moments, what really is the price of fame?

This book was one of those books I thought I didn't like. I was in quite a bad mood when I read it but after a while I went  back to reading it and I started to remember parts and I burst out laughing our of nowhere. There is only one way to describe this book and that is bloody hilarious. I haven't laughed so hard at a book in donkey years!! Anna just seemed like such an awkward person like me who always does the wrong things at the wrong to me and likes to hide in dark closets and curl up in a ball forever. It was almost like the author jumped into a 15 year olds head, extracted their thoughts then put it down on paper. I have probaby never read a more relatable book.

My favourite character in the book would have to be Anna's dog because he was just lazy and a bit hyper at times and stole everbodies food so I loved him. Anna had me falling out of my seat! She set fire to a girls hair, has terrible dance moves and experience something which meant hanging upside down in a Wolverine vest. Every single situation she was in was as funny as the rest and I loved how she didn't really care that much before her becoming famous and even after she became famous. That is what I loved about her, she made mistakes like everybody else and always recovered from them and making things right.

The ending was probably one of the funniest endings ever (in grey:She was about to kiss a boy outside the school hall and then her dad honked his car horn and told her to get in, talk about spoiling special moments!) Overall, I really did enjoy this book and I really can't wait for the next book to come up!

My Thoughts...

 A Perfect Timing was a sweet book but I felt like I couldn't warm to it at all. Yes, it was a sweet contemporary book and it did have a alright story line, it just felt like the book was written book was written by a teenager on Wattpad and it made it dragged on for quite a bit. This is my first time reading a book by Robin Mellom and I have heard so many great things about her. this book was definitely a disappointment for me. I kind of felt like skimming some parts of the book  because I felt bored out of my mind.

What was so good about the book was the start of it. There was the fun and loving Tori who wrote a blog with her mum on how to deal with relationships or a divvorece. It was brilliant, and I was warming up to the book. Then the half way point hit and it just slowly got colder and I was glad that I had finished the book (not in a good way). I just thought that things went to plan for Tori a few too many times and it felt like she was a completely unrealistic character. Also, I  hate how authors always find it necessary to have a gay best friend, I'm all about gay rights, but it was so stereotypical it hurt. He called her by her pet name of 'puppy' and was just annoying. You know not all gay men carry handbags. I think that character was only put into the book to try and make it seem likeable but seriously, some people use a gay best friend as an accessory in their books.

The only way to describe the book was that I just didn't get it at all. I didn't get how the romance happened, I didn't get the middle parts, I didn't get the plot twist, I didn't get the characters. I just felt confused. I just thought that so much happened that it wasn't exciting. Now, I am an eye roller and I have probably exercised my eyes so much I could lift weights from them,that's how much I'm annoyed. I probably only requested this book for its cover, yes Naomi has judged a book by its cover *gasp*

Overall, I do not recommend the book, the only reason it was given 2 stars was because I enjoyed the first part of the book.

The Selection was not what I was expecting it to be at all. I thought it would be cliché, judging by the cover and the synopsis, but I urged myself to give the book a try because it seemed different and now I seriously dont regret it. We are plunged into a world of judgment meaning that if you are in a certain class your life has been mapped out for you. For example, if you were a 5 you would be an artist and if you were a 8, you were a criminal. Although the book was dystopian it did mainly concentrate on the romance between characters and less on the world they live in. It didn't really bother me that much because I wasn't expecting much on that side anyway and I wanted to really see development between characters which I did indeed see.  

Kiera Cass' writing style is casual yet not too laid back. It made it easier to connect with America as a character and I wasn't so confused that I was rereading each line so many times that I felt like continuously banging my head on a plank of wood. This meant that I actually finished this book in one sitting. I stayed up really late on a school night and ended up having 4 hours of sleep but I couldn't put the book down at all. I kept on finishing a chapter then saying to myself 'Naomi, you need to sleep...nah just one more chapter' another chapter led to another and I actually ended up finishing the book. I was sleep deprived that day but completely satisfied that I had finally finished it. Then I got really annoyed because the book ended on a cliff hanger and I just  kept on thinking about what would happen and it just stressed me out!

There weren't many main characters in the book to concentrate on which makes things even better because I am really bad at remembering names. I can barely remember The Hunger Games characters and I read the book THREE TIMES!' My favourite character would have to be of course Prince Maxon as he was an awkward character who didn't even know what he was doing. He was charming, sweet and was just a person who understood things and always listened even if it didn't really matter. America was a character who was fierce and wouldn't give up on anything. She fought for what was right, she didn't cower away in the corner and was always there to offer help to people who needed it.

I don't really want to talk about the romance as it is the main element in the book and I feel like if I talk about it then a whole load of spoilers will splurge out and I try to keep my reviews spoiler free. Overall, I do think this book was worth the read and I will be reading the next book as soon as I can get my hands on it!!

This book follows the life of a girl called Bianca who can't help but have gorgeous friends who always have the attention. She is always the third wheel at parties (they drink diet coke and dance) and is the person who has to drag her friends away from teenage boys who don't have good attention. When the schools well know jerk talks to her and labels her the D.U.F.F it doesn't do anything else but stick in her mind all the time. When she has to work with Wesley for a Scholl project, the sexual tension does seem to rise a bit. They end up in a loop of hooking up 3 times a weeks but nobody knows except for her and Wesley. She finds herself spending more time with Wesley than with her friends. Is she starting to fall for him?

As this books was up for offer on netgalley as a read now I couldn't resist a as everybody was linking to it and saying to get it so I gave in and had to! What I loved about this book was that it was hilarious. Wesley' s and Bianca' s light banter made the book even better and made the characters even more funny. This book is what you would call cliché, you know they story about the bad boy teazing the girl who who he wouldn't usually go for and they both start falling for each other but who doesn't like a tiny bit of cliché? What definitely saved me the book was that the characters were likeable. 

The only  thing which I didn't like about the book was the main character Bianca. I mean she was just annoying. She was always jumping between boys, making bad decisions and doing a brilliant job at being extremely irritating. I didn't like how she didn't have enough sense to listen to herself and suddenly decided to fall fir and hook up regularly with a guy who called her ugly and fat. Also she decided to ditch her friends completely for pleasure, to be honest I thought she was a bit stupid. I didn't feel like I connected with he well as I am not as reckless as her or as open. If Wesley called me a D.U.F.F I would've STOP talking to the boy a very long time ago however hot he was.

I liked the concept of the book but I did find it a tiny bit repetitive in a sense that she was always crawling back to Wesley and it just kept on concentrating on them which did get quite boring at times. I wanted to get to know Bianca' s friends a bit more, all I was really told was that they were pretty and met in quite a cliché way which wasn't that creative.

Overall, I would recommend this book if you are looking for a quick read to pass time. I read this in a night so it isn't a complete time waster.

This books follows the life of Simon, the caring, hilarious and vibrant boy who is also gay. The problem is that he is afraid to be openly gay in Georgia as he feels he will be judged. He hides it from all of his friends except for on, Blue (his alias, Simon's is Jacques). An anonymous boy who happens to go to the same school who is actually gay too. After meeting on tumblr, exchanging emails with each other and talking together every single day on how they share the same problems. These emails are sweet and is what makes them slowly fall for each other. But Simon was quite silly one day and leaves his emails up leading to another boy getting hold of them, and then screenshotting them. He is blackmailed and stuck in a trap of not revealing his secrets. With crazy things happening with friends, a dad who makes casual jokes about gay people, both parents who observe his whole life and are interested in everything plus he can't come out by himself because he is being threatened. Simon's life is getting trickier and trickier but he knows Blue will always be there. Will they finally meet?

My Thoughts

What I loved about this book was Simon's quirky personality and how he addressed himself. He was an out going character who got along with everyone who secretly hated people and he loved Harry Potter so thumbs up. I also liked how he and his family were as crazy as each other and he liked musicals. Does anyone know where the sign up sheet to be his bestfriend is? He has always been he supportive and the never-fails-to-make-you-smile type of  friend. I also like his group of best friends who spend their time is Nick' s (his friend for 6 years) basement instead of partying like the rest of his year. I liked their individuality and how they visited Waffle House every single day but never got sick of it.

This story covers how hard it is for some gay teenagers to come out as they face being judged and ridiculed. Although he does know he finds it hard to tell even his friends, it shows how the internet can find you friends who you can talk to for weeks but it feels like you have known each other since birth. It also shows how Simon doesn't know if he is sure yet but Blue helps him leap out of that confined space be whoever he wants to be. I found there secret relationship sweet and it was so beautiful how they accepted each other even though they had never met each other face to face.

Overall, I do think this is a book worthy of all your time to read. You will find yourself say 'awww' out loud at all of the sweet moments. It is almost like Simon is your own friend as he is so funny and relatable!

When I requested for this book, I didn’t actually know it was a second book to a series so I was quite confused. When I did actually look into the book I found out that the first book was based on different characters so I wouldn’t be missing out on that much. This book follows two characters, Nathan and Kate. Kate has been running away from her agent school because she has betrayed them and is afraid to go back to them as she would be tracked by Scorpion again, which is a dangerous Indonesian gang who mark you for life and if you leave you are killed. Nathan is a boy who has gone from the scrawny boy at the back of the class who tried to make everybody happy to a boy who was hit by puberty with a truck. He is told to go and hunt her down as his mission but will he really let his feelings which he thinks are gone get in the way of achieving what he is meant to?

As much as I liked the idea of the book, the characters just annoyed me a bit too much. I mean first of all Nathan and his pet names, I mean calling her ‘babe’ or ‘hun’ every single time to speak to you does not make me think of you as a handsome person but it screams jerk. Their flirting is unrealistic and Kate is just a bit to thirsty for attention for my liking. I was just done with her when she wore small boys school shorts and starting moving her behind trying to attract boys attention. Could she at least have some self-respect and stop being such an attention seeker because it was just pulling at every single nerve in my body. I thought that their romance was kind of sweet, no biggie but I wanted more action. Can these books being written at around this time please concentrate more on the action and the exciting stuff in the story? Sometimes unneeded romance can just spoil everything that has happened in the story because I really did love the idea of it. It is quite disappointing.

I am quite into books to do with spies e.g. Gallagher Girls, Cherub and The Alex Rider Series because I do love the idea of mystery and a tiny bit of violence (not like full on but you know mild) to add a bit of drama to a series, I do think that this book needs to change a few things because I don’t really think they go well. It might be due to the fact that I hadn’t read the first book in the series but overall I do think this was an alright book with quite a bit of action which did do some justice but I do think that maybe it would have helped me a bit more if I knew about he characters and if I didn’t find it a bit too awkward for me.
