It was a brilliant experience and I will definitley want to see events like this aroud the bloggersphere as it would be amazing! One thing I wouldn't want to change anything about this tour because it was awesome and there were next to no defaults. I think that whoever reads this blog should really consider signing up next year for the tour as you will discover some of the most awesome bloggers ever and their interests.

My favourite post which I wrote would have to be my Throne Of Glass fancast over at The Book Bratz as it was one of the posts which I had the most fun creating and thinking about. I love Throne Of Glass it one of my favourite series so it was exciting to create a fancast for the series. I relly did enjoy this whole tour and I am sad that it is coming to a close.

Good Bye Summer Blogger Promo Tour 2015 you were a  blast!

How Wonderland Novels Started Blogging-SBPT||❤

Hello everyone,
Today the wonderful Alice and Yillang are on my blog to write a bit about how they got together to start a blog!!!

Alice and I met during sophomore year of high school and one of our common interests was reading books! We would always talk about books together and during our senior year of high school, we heard that Book Expo America was also doing a convention for books (BookCon) that was open to the public so we decided to go together. It was after the convention that we decided to get into blogging together to spread and write about our love for reading. We've faced some challenges among the way, especially when we were both busy with college and weren't able to post as much. But we both love blogging and coming up with posts together. Having a blog gives us a wonderful outlet to share our love for books with everybody!

What an amazing story! Just to show how blogging is not all about books but finding friends with common interests and sharing it with the internet. Thanks for stopping by Alice and Yillang!

Zoey's Favourite Book Bloggers-SBPT||❤

Here today is Zoey from Uncreatively Zoey, talking about her favourite book blogs! Before we get started, sorry for the messiness of my blog at the moment as I am redesigning it, it looks horrible but good things are coming!

I read a lot of blogs. But my priority obviously goes to returning comments for those who have visited my blog, so it's hard to also regularly visit a bunch of others. There are, however, some blogs that I try to read every week without fail.

I don't think I even need to explain this one. Cait's photographs are gorgeous and she's basically the funniest person on the planet. (Do I ever stop talking about Cait?)

It Starts At Midnight
I love Shannon's discussions! I love the humor that she spins into all her posts. I love Shannon.

Again - love the discussions! And there are plenty of people contributing to Deadly Darlings, so you've always got a great variety of posts and personalities.

Sometimes Faye reviews books/discusses things through comic and IT'S THE COOLEST THING EVER. All the other posts on The Social Potato are pretty dang cool, too.

Christina is just so great at discussing things, whether in reviews or other posts.
Amanda posts on all sorts of different topics! She's moved away from strictly book blogging, and I find each of her posts so interesting!
There are, of course, TONS of other blogs that I read quite often and love. Tons of blogs I haven't yet discovered. These are just ones that really stick out in my mind right now!

Thank you Zoey for sharing your favourite blogs!
Zoey is an undergrad trying to study Zoology but really still holding out hope to end up in an editor’s office. Her favorite things include cats, coffee, and books piled so high they’re about to topple over. Please send her pictures of your cats.

 The Author
ANNABELLE BRYANTAnabelle began reading at age three and never stopped. Her passion for reading soon turned into a passion for writing and an author was born. Happy to grab a suitcase if it ensures a new adventure, Anabelle finds endless inspiration in travel, especially imaginary jaunts into Regency England, a far cry from her home in New Jersey. Instead, her clever characters live out her daydreams because really, who wouldn't want to dance with a handsome duke or kiss a wicked earl?

Though teaching keeps her grounded, photography, running and writing, counterbalance her wanderlust. Often found with her nose in a book, Anabelle earned her Master's Degree and is completing her Doctorate Degree in education. Thrilled to be an author for Harlequin's Carina line, Anabelle's historical romances are character driven. She strives to provide a heartfelt connection between her hero, heroine, and the reader, believing the emotional journey on the path to true love is the most important bond. Clever secondary characters and lively conversation keep the pages turning.

Erin Meeting Stephen Chbosky-SBPT||❤

Hello Everybody,
Today I have the lovely Erin @The Hardcover Lover who has met the well known and awesome author, Stephen Chbosky!
Click for Options
(sorry if the picture is on the small side!)

When I enrolled in a small, rural college about an hour away from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I never in my life imagined that one day an author as epic as Stephen Chbosky would come to talk to the students. But to my surprise, he did!
It was during either my sophomore or junior year (I really don’t remember at this point), but the admissions department changed the freshmen required reading book to The Perks of Being a Wallflower. A lot of the upperclassmen were upset because we had to read a really stupid book, and all these new kids were going to be able to read an amazing book before entering college.
Then the signs started appearing in the dining halls. Stephen would be coming to speak at our school! I was excited as I could be! I waited and waited, and when the day came, I made sure I got in line so I wouldn’t be turned away from the event. We all listened as Stephen told us about how Charlie is slightly based on himself as a teen. Then he started addressing the movie. At this time, the cast list wasn’t confirmed, but Stephen told us that Emma Watson had signed on to play Sam. We were supposed to keep it a secret, but with so many kids on smartphones, it was impossible.
Then at the end of the event, he did a book signing. I waited in line for him to sign my book, and even though there were about 500 people in line, he personalized every single book. I thought that was the best part of the night. He was recently married, and probably wanted to get home to his wife, but he stayed well past the ending time to sign books.

Then, a few years later, my friend and I decided on a whim to go see the film version of The Perks of Being a Wallflower on opening night. I had loaned her my book, and she fell in love with it, so we thought, “Why not?” We piled into her car, and drove off to the theater.
When we got there, I saw a table, and behind that table was a face I recognized. It was Stephen. We didn’t have time before our showing to hop in line, but we hoped he’d still be there when the movie was over.
When the movie was over we rushed out of the theater. The line to meet Stephen was pretty short, so we hopped in. It was technically closed, but my friend and I were balling our eyes out, so an usher let just us two get in line. I was in awe because I really thought we’d have to go home.
When we finally got to Stephen, he called us his “favorite people of the night,” and we both laughed and smiled as he signed promotional posters for the film. He actually talked to us a bit more than he did with the few people who were ahead of us in line, and this time, I got a picture. I even told him that he signed my book, and he actually remembered! I was so ecstatic.
That night was the best night of my life. My friend and I drove through the tunnel, and we just relived everything from that night while listening to the Perks soundtrack as the city of Pittsburgh appeared in front of us. It was perfect.
Make sure that you check out Erin's blog and follow it! Thank ou for being on my blog Erin!!
Erin is a twenty-something substitute teacher and YA book blogger. When she’s not reading, she’s looking for a full time job because she’d love to share her love of literature and the English language with teenagers. Erin loves owls and polka dots. She has two cats - Lizzie and Luna – who drive her crazy.

The Heartbreakers-A Book Review||❤

The Heartbreakers
By Ali Novak
Publication Date: 4th August 2015
Rating: 4/5 stars
* e-arc recieved in exchange for an honest review*
When I met Oliver Perry, I had no clue he was the lead singer for The Heartbreakers. Unbeknownst to him, I was the only girl in the world who hated his music."

Stella will do anything for her sister—even stand in line for an autographed Heartbreakers CD... for three hours. At least she met a cute boy at the Starbucks beforehand. A blue-eyed boy who looks an awful lot like...

Oliver Perry. Of course Starbucks guy is the lead singer for her least favorite band. Thanks, universe. But there may be more to Oliver than his world-famous charm, because even after she insults his music—to his face—he still gives her his number. Seriously, what is her life?

But how can Stella even think about being with Oliver—dating and laughing and pulling pranks with the band—when her sister could be dying of cancer?

My Thoughts
As a massive Wattpad and Ali Novak fan, I had previously read the unedited version of this story on Wattpad. When I found out that this was on Netgalley, I grabbed the opportunity and requested the book. I love seeing Wattpad authors having their books published and I really do support them. I adored the Heartbreakers series and all that really changed was some of the plot but it made the story more clean cut and easier to get through as in the undrafted online addition a whole lot of stuff went on.

I did prefer the original version in a way, this version was brilliant but there was something about the original which just stuck to me. I think I preferred it because it was a longer story. Wattpad is a website where you can make the book as long as you want it to be. The book online had so many chapters and there was room for so many things to happen and for people to be made up and it felt like you moved onwards as a family with the characters and the fellow commenters/readers of the book. The Heartbreakers was definitely a new and improved book with less plot holes and a more developed and concise story.

I loved each and every character for their ways. My favourite would definitely have to be Alec as he was quiet yet he gave good advice and was a mature character who understood what people are going through. I’m a bit biased here because I adore him in The Heartbreakers 2 which is currently being written on Wattpad and I just love him as a character. Stella was the definition of fierce, clever and caring. I loved her personality and music taste and her camera which was always around her neck. Although this book was basically the definition of cliche it just worked for some reason. There is always a time which is around the summer when I am more carefree when some of the cliches just fly over my head. If I read this in like October where I am usually in a crappy mood then I would be a very harsh person. Oliver was sweet but I didn’t really like him as a person to be honest. I found him a bit stuck up but I think that the readers were intended to think of him in that way.

This book did touch on the subject of cancer. You may roll your eyes and think “noooo not another TFIOS” but it was just beautifully put in. Someone in Stella’s family does have cancer so it does really control most of her decisions but it really is saying that illness can cause opportunities.

What was so good about the book was that it didn’t actually take me that long to finish it. On my goodreads it says I took around 6 days but really I started and probably only got around 10 pages in then I finished it in a day. If you are looking for a light contemporary read this is definitely for you. Overall, I did enjoy this book and I do recommend it for one of those really hot days where you can’t do anything but read.

Naomi...xxx

Books That Made Me Cry Featuring Biblio Smiles-SBPT||❤

Hello Everbody,
Today on my blog for this tour will be the lovely Danielle of Biblio Smiles! Get ready for the feels people because this post is all about it! Take it away:

Sometimes I think I use books solely for the purpose of making myself cry.
Losing yourself in a good cry is cathartic, and I highly recommend it.
If you’re looking for stories with unforgettable characters, beautiful dialogue, and scenes that play out vividly in your mind and heart, be sure to pick up these three reads. But please, don’t forget the tissues.

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
(Note: Be sure to read this one before the movie comes out next year!)
A snippet from the synopsis calls Me Before You a “heartbreakingly romantic novel that asks, What do you do when making the person you love happy also means breaking your own heart?”
The majority of the book’s narration is through the point of view of Louisa Clark. She is chatty, and pleasant, and incredibly comfortable in her hometown. When she loses her job at a cafe and interviews for a caretaker position, she gets a real wake-up call.
She becomes a companion for Will, a thirty-something quadriplegic who, before his accident, was a high-powered businessman with a taste for adventure. Wheelchair-bound and entirely dependent on others, Will is a shadow of his former self. Louisa soon learns that her position in Will’s life holds a weight that she may not be prepared for.
This is a stunning book. It’s painful, but inspiring, and life-affirming. If you’re looking for a book to make you laugh, and cry, and want to get out there and live: read Me Before You. It will not disappoint.
(Hopefully the movie will not disappoint, either!)

Z: A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald by Therese Anne Fowler
Zelda and Scott Fitzgerald were the “it” couple of the 1920s. Fowler describes the luxurious, booze-fueled early days of the Fitzgerald marriage in such charming details that I dreamed of tagging along. I loved reading these accounts from Zelda’s perspective, as she makes herself over into the flapper of Scott’s stories.
Therese Anne Fowler paints a portrait of the Fitzgeralds that is relatable and touching. Zelda, a beautiful and outgoing young woman, is swept into Scott’s exciting life. Despite her family’s misgivings, Zelda marries Scott. This decision ultimately shapes the rest of her life.
As the years pass and the Fitzgerald’s marriage is challenged by financial hardships, emotional breakdowns, and the presence of one well-written (if infuriating!) Ernest Hemingway, Fowler showcases a marriage that struggles, despite the odds. What we have here is a pair of people who are both brilliant and deeply troubled. They achieve success, but they must also live with depression and failure. There is so much emotion in these pages. I couldn’t put this book down.

And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini
Once again, the author of The Kite Runner delivers another thought-provoking, powerful story about love and the choices we make. Hosseini’s newest novel focuses on a myriad of characters from around the globe. He masterfully links the narratives together, and this kept me saying “aha!” whenever I made a new connection between narrators.
What begins as a story about a father’s choice and the strong bond between a brother and sister becomes so much more. The reader is shuffled back and forth through time and place, from a small village in Afghanistan in the 1950s to modern-day San Francisco, even stopping in France and Greece. The scope of the novel seems huge at first, and overwhelming in its number of characters and their hardships, but at a certain point: it all just clicks.
“Human behavior is messy and unpredictable and unconcerned with convenient symmetries,” the novel states. As the tears roll, you will understand so much about the fragility of relationships, the implications of selfishness, and the strength of love.

I think this is something that I’ve come to understand from all three of these books.  Books that elicit emotional responses, in my opinion, are doing their job right.  Don’t you think so?

Thanks so much for having me, Naomi!
