Waiting On Wednesday||❤

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking The Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
 This week is..........
The Sword Of Summer
By Rick Riordan

Magnus Chase has always been a troubled kid. Since his mother’s mysterious death, he’s lived alone on the streets of Boston, surviving by his wits, keeping one step ahead of the police and the truant officers.

One day, he’s tracked down by a man he’s never met—a man his mother claimed was dangerous. The man tells him an impossible secret: Magnus is the son of a Norse god.

The Viking myths are true. The gods of Asgard are preparing for war. Trolls, giants and worse monsters are stirring for doomsday. To prevent Ragnarok, Magnus must search the Nine Worlds for a weapon that has been lost for thousands of years.

When an attack by fire giants forces him to choose between his own safety and the lives of hundreds of innocents, Magnus makes a fatal decision.

Sometimes, the only way to start a new life is to die . . .

What are you waiting on this Wednesday??

Keep Reading,
Naomi...xxx

  15. After the Percy Jackson series I was done with the story and world. I was surprised once I saw the author had written a spin-off series and now I'm even more surprised he wrote another spin-off series. I'm pretty sure I won't read either of them, but I hope you enjoy this new series. n_n

  16. I've only recently finished the Percy Jackson series and absolutely loved them! I'm another one really eager for this one, but hoping I won't need to have read the spin off series to enjoy this one, otherwise I might need to push everything else aside and get started ASAP. Nice choice Naomi, this one is going to be epic, that's for sure <3

  19. Every time I see the name Magnus all I can think about is the City of Bones series. But it still seems like this would be a good book, and of course, I love anything Rick Riordan writes!
